The South African Consulate in The Bahamas extends its warmest congratulations to Commodore Floyd P. Moxey on his appointment as the new Commander of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) and salutes the distinguished service of Commodore E. Raymond King, who officially relinquished command during today’s historic 8th Change of Command Ceremony at HMBS Coral Harbour.

On 2 May 2025, in conjunction with the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) Workshop convened in Nassau, The Bahamas, the South African Consulate had the distinct honour of hosting a private diplomatic dinner in celebration of visiting dignitaries from across the Southern African region. The event brought together Members of Parliament and representatives from the Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and Western Cape Provincial Legislatures of the Republic of South Africa, as well as from the Kingdom of Eswatini.
